About This Course
Participants will learn basic food safety course knowledge to be certified food handlers. The course will cover the following five topics:
-Practising good personal hygiene
-Use safe ingredients
-Handling food safety
-Storing food safety
-Maintaining cleanliness of utensils, equipment and service/ storage areas
What You'll Learn
The 1-day course aims to provide with the essential knowledge and skill-sets to follow food & beverage safety and hygiene policies and procedures.
Entry Requirements
1: Able to speak, listen, write, and read English with Numeracy skills at a minimum proficiency level of the Employability Skills Workforce Skills Qualification i.e., Workplace Literacy and Numeracy (WPLN) Level 5
2: Learners who do not qualify in terms of education but have at least one year of relevant working experience will be admitted on a case-by-case basis, subject to approval by the Management Representative (MR).
