Primavera P6 Programme Planning Essentials for 4D BIM
About This Course
This course will impart the knowledge and skills for aspiring and existing Built Environment professionals to develop and optimize a program schedule for construction projects.
What You'll Learn
• LO1: Explain the principles of project management
• LO2: Read and understand project plan in Primavera P6
• LO3: Develop a new project plan
• LO4: Allocate roles and responsibilities to team members in a project plan.
• LO5: Baseline the new project plan
• LO6: Determine the factors contributing to gaps in schedule, resource allocation and budget.
• LO7: Conduct schedule analysis to breakdown long activities and shorten project plan
• LO8: Analyze resource allocation to realistically achieve the project plan
• LO9: Analyze the budget from the shortened project plan
• LO10: Conduct risk management for the development of risk mitigation plan
• LO11: Collate and present project schedule.
Entry Requirements
• At least a diploma in architecture, mechanical and electrical, green building & sustainability, mechatronics civil, structural engineering, aerospace engineering, landscape architecture, interior design, sustainable urban design and engineering, or any built-environment related course.
• English language proficiency at GCE ‘O’ level of C6 and above, or WSQ Workplace Literacy skills of Level 6 and above.
• Proficient with the use of a Windows-based computer for work.
• Basic knowledge in project planning is advantageous.
• No prior working experience required*.
*Learners who do not qualify in terms of education but have at least one year working experience in the Built Environment will be admitted on a case-by-case basis.
