About This Course

The (SCTP) Hotel and Accommodation Services program is targeted at Singaporeans aged 40 and above pursuing (full-time) industry-relevant skills to improve their employability, and pivot to the hotel sector.

For the duration of the program, eligible individuals can receive a monthly allowance, depending on their average income over the latest-available 12 months, and subjected to a cap of $3000 per month, provided they meet the minimum attendance requirement each month. Learners can tap on their SkillsFuture Credit (Mid-Career) to offset the course fees.

Career Facilitation is included.

*While career facilitation by ACE is included, job placement is not guaranteed, as this will be subjected to employing organisation's discretion.

What You'll Learn

The program consists of 15 key modules that cover essential areas, empowering learners with a broad range of skills. Learners will build their capabilities in their knowledge and skills not only in areas of front office, reservations, housekeeping and tourism promotion, but also linen operations, bell and concierge service, as well as club floor operations. By focusing on these key areas, learners will be equipped to deliver exceptional service and create memorable experiences for hotel guests.

As part of our program, learners will have the unique opportunity to participate in a practicum, immersing themselves in real-time hotel operations in one of Ascott properties. This hands-on experience will give them a glimpse into the daily life of a front office and housekeeping associate, allowing them to observe and learn from actual hotel operations. This practicum will provide invaluable insight and practical knowledge, bridging the gap between theory and real-world application.

This is an immersive, full-time program with classes held 5 days a week, Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, over a period of 3 months.

This intensive schedule allows for comprehensive learning and experiential experience, providing learners with a thorough understanding of the hotel operations.
