About This Course
Building Mental and Emotional Resilience for Professional Excellence addresses the challenge of how individuals’ well-being impacts their performance at work. While most people today recognize the importance of well-being, many still struggle to practice self-care in an organizational setting.
This course offers two key developments:
1. The ability to recognize one’s work styles, mindset, and physiological changes that impact mental and emotional well-being.
2. Techniques to consistently manage mental and emotional states and effectively dissociate from negative experiences.
This is a hands-on, experiential learning program that provides application-based practice, NLP tools, and brain-based learning.
The knowledge and skills you gain from this course will empower you to maintain composure, optimize performance, and develop self-management plans that are sustainable.
What You'll Learn
▪ Examine personal well-being to identify occupa-tional risks and stress indicators.
▪ Apply proactive self-care through consultations with co-workers.
▪ Apply assessments and procedures to develop and review self-care plans.
▪ Apply effective coping strategies to regulate stress.
▪ Apply effective techniques to reframe negative experiences for stress regulation.
Entry Requirements
▪ Be able to speak, listen, read and write English at a proficiency level equivalent to the Employability Skills Workforce Skills Qualification (ES WSQ) Workplace Literacy (WPL) Level 6
▪ Basic IT proficiency that extends to the use of the internet, email, Microsoft Word, Google Forms or its equivalent software
